What We've Achieved

  • Developed and validated the Simple Physical Activity Questionnaire in over 1000 participants from >20 countries
  • Developed and implemented successful lifestyle interventions for people experiencing mental illness, including those with first episode psychosis, schizophrenia and posttraumatic stress disorder
  • Delivered training regarding the implementation of lifestyle interventions for people experiencing mental illness in over 15 countries
  • Successfully advocated for the inclusion of diet and exercise therapy as a component of routine care for people experiencing mental illness
